Open Graph Generator

Control how your pages look when shared on Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and WhatsApp. Enter your title, description, image, URL, and content type, and get the complete set of Open Graph and Twitter Card meta tags — properly escaped and ready to paste into your page’s <head>. No more broken previews with missing images or wrong titles.

How to Use the Open Graph Generator

  1. Enter the title and description you want shown in social previews.
  2. Paste the absolute URL of your preview image (1200×630 px is the recommended size).
  3. Add the page URL and pick the content type.
  4. Click Generate Tags, copy the block, and paste it into your page’s <head>.

Practical example

You publish a recipe and share the link on Facebook, but the preview shows your site logo instead of the dish photo. Generate Open Graph tags with the recipe title, a mouth-watering description, and the dish photo URL, then add them to the page. The next share renders a big, clickable card with the right image — which typically earns far more clicks than a bare link. The same tags power previews on LinkedIn and WhatsApp too, so one block of tags fixes sharing everywhere at once.

Key features and benefits

  • Full tag coverage: og:url, og:type, og:title, og:description, og:image plus the matching Twitter Card tags.
  • Large-image cards: uses summary_large_image so your image displays prominently on X/Twitter.
  • Safe escaping: quotes and special characters in your text cannot break the tags.
  • One-click copy: the complete block is ready in a single click.
  • Private: generated entirely in your browser.

Limitations

Social platforms cache link previews — after adding tags, use each platform’s debugger (Facebook Sharing Debugger, X Card Validator) to refresh the cached preview. The image must be publicly reachable over HTTPS at an absolute URL; relative paths will not work. This tool covers the core tags; platform-specific extras (like article publish times) are not included.
