Case Converter

Convert text instantly between uppercase, lowercase, title case, sentence case and toggle case. Everything runs in your browser.

Convert and copy a passage

  1. Paste or type your text.
  2. Select the case you need. The converted text replaces the contents of the same box.
  3. Review names, acronyms and punctuation, then choose Copy text. Clear text empties the box.

Keep a copy of the original if you may need its capitalization later. Applying a second mode works on the already-converted text.

See what each mode changes

  • UPPERCASE: “summer sale” becomes “SUMMER SALE”.
  • lowercase: “SUMMER SALE” becomes “summer sale”.
  • Title Case: “summer sale today” becomes “Summer Sale Today”. It capitalizes words mechanically, without a publication’s title-style rules.
  • Sentence case: “HELLO WORLD. NEXT LINE!” becomes “Hello world. Next line!”
  • tOGGLE cASE: “Hello” becomes “hELLO”. It reverses existing letter case; it does not alternate every other letter.

Review product names and acronyms

Sentence case can turn “USB” into “usb”, while title case can turn “iPhone” into “Iphone”. Restore intentional brand spelling, initials and proper nouns after conversion. Sentence and title modes use simple English-oriented rules, so accented words and other writing systems may need extra editing.

Case conversion questions

Does it correct grammar or spelling?

No. It changes capitalization. It does not rewrite a sentence, add missing punctuation or check spelling.

Will title case follow APA or newspaper style?

No. It does not distinguish short words, acronyms or style-guide exceptions. Treat it as a starting point for a heading.

Does it preserve document formatting?

The box handles plain text. Fonts, bold text, tables and document layout are not retained when pasted.

Why does Copy text fail in some browsers?

Clipboard permissions can prevent automatic copying. Select the converted text and use your device’s normal Copy command.

Check the result’s length

Paste your converted text into the Word Counter before using a form with a length limit. Case conversion happens locally in your browser and does not create a saved text history.
