PDF Splitter
Extract selected pages from a PDF directly in your browser. Your document is processed locally and is not uploaded to Utilzivo.
How to split a PDF
Choose a PDF, enter the pages you want such as 1-3,5, then create a new PDF containing only those pages.
Page selection examples
Use a range such as 1-3 to extract pages 1, 2 and 3. Use commas for separate pages, for example 1,4,7. You can combine both styles, such as 1-3,5,8-10. Page numbers refer to the PDF page order, starting at page 1.
When splitting a PDF is useful
Splitting is useful when you need to send only selected pages from a larger report, save one section of a document, separate a form from supporting pages, or create a smaller working copy. Review the new PDF before deleting or sharing anything from the original document.
Important limitations
This tool creates a new PDF containing the selected pages. It is not designed to repair corrupted documents, remove passwords, bypass document restrictions, or edit the content inside a page. Very large PDFs can require more browser memory and processing time, particularly on mobile devices.
Privacy
PDF processing happens in your browser, helping keep your document on your device.
Frequently asked questions
Can I extract non-consecutive pages?
Yes. Enter separate page numbers with commas, or combine comma-separated numbers and ranges.
Does splitting change the original PDF?
No. The tool creates a separate downloadable PDF and does not overwrite the source file on your device.
Can I split a password-protected PDF?
A protected or restricted PDF may not load successfully. This tool does not remove passwords or security restrictions.
Why might a large PDF be slow?
Browser-based PDF processing uses your device memory and processor, so larger documents can take longer.
