PDF Merge
Combine multiple PDF files into one document directly in your browser. Add your PDFs, arrange them in the order you want, then download the merged file.
Assemble a document in the right order
- Choose at least two PDF files.
- Use the up and down arrows to arrange the file list. Remove any file you do not want.
- Select Merge PDFs. Check the displayed file count, page count and output size.
- Download the merged PDF and open it to check the page sequence.
Selecting a new set of files replaces the current list. Arrange whole files here; to choose individual pages first, use the PDF Splitter.
Example: cover letter and supporting pages
Put a one-page cover letter first, a three-page report second and a two-page appendix last. The result should contain six pages in that sequence. The merger keeps each source file's internal page order. Different page sizes and orientations can coexist in the output.
What merging does and does not preserve
The tool copies PDF pages rather than turning them into screenshots, so ordinary text and page graphics can remain intact. However, document-level bookmarks, attachments, form behaviour, annotations and accessibility features are not guaranteed to transfer correctly. A new merged PDF does not preserve the validity of a digital signature applied to an original document.
Merging is not compression or OCR. It does not make scanned text searchable, reduce page dimensions, unlock encrypted PDFs or remove the originals from your device.
PDF merging questions
Why was an encrypted PDF rejected?
The merger does not bypass passwords. Use an authorised unlocked copy if you have permission, then try again.
Can I reorder individual pages?
The arrows reorder entire files. Extract or arrange selected pages with the PDF Splitter before merging.
Why does a large merge fail on my phone?
The browser needs memory to read the source files and create a new document. Try smaller groups or a device with more available memory. There is no universal safe size for every device.
Will the merged PDF always be smaller?
No. The goal is to combine pages. Output size depends on the source documents and their stored resources.
Processing and related tools
PDF contents are processed in your browser. The page downloads its PDF library from an external CDN; local file processing does not mean the website makes no network requests. See the Privacy Policy. If you need a smaller PDF, review the flattening limitations on the PDF Compressor before using it.
